Ok dumb question, When i first installed my Pyro I put it on the downtube like I did on my dodge. I know this isnt the right place but I did it because I did not want to pull the exhaust manifold off to put in a pyro. Here are my questions....

1) how big of a difference, in temp., is there between my Pyro and one installed in the manifold?

2) would i have even had to pull the manifold? I was concerned about metal shavings going through the turbo and marring it up.

3) did anyone who installed their pyro in the manifold just drill and tap the hole for the pyro itself? or did you weld in a sleeve and thread the pyro into that?

4) this wont affect the strength of the manifold will it? cant afford to replace a cracked manifold right now.....

Thanks for any help you give! and im sorry about the amount of questions!! thanks again!!! -Jeff

As far as differance in Pre and Post temp there is no calculation as to actual differance in order to compare .... Post turbo temps can vary do to a few differant circumstances ambeient air and intercooler function is one ...Pre turbo it's the most accurate temp measurement ...
