My brother-in-law just picked up a set of Cooper STT's and american racing wheel for his Dodge and the tires and wheels make his rig look so much better. I have a set of H2's and have been looking at tires that will fit with minor trimming and possibly a turn or two of the t-bars.

In 17" wheels the STT is offered in:

LT245/70R17
LT265/70R17
LT285/70R17
33x12.5R17LT

I know the 245's and 265's should fit no problem, but what are the chances of the 285's and 33x12.5 fitting with H2's?
Anyone run this combo or have an educated idea of the fit?

I've got the 285's on 16's and to be honest,they seem bigger than the 285 t/a's that I had when I first got the truck.

I have 33x 12.50x17 pro comps and they fit nice should be the same as the cooper. dave

I'm running 34x12.50 with minor trimming. Actually they're 305/70/17

Leadfoot, I had 285/70-17 Toyo Open Country A/Ts on my '01 D/A and they fit very well with H2s. I did the air dam trim and e brake cable tie back tricks and only had a slight rub on the plastic fender liner at full left lock when leaving my driveway. I'll do it again on my '06 D/A. That's just the right size for a truck w/o a lift. and a little cranking on the t-bars (about 4X, ea.).

I'm ASSuming you have them mounted on H2's...is this correct.
Also what did you need to do for trimming or turning of the t-bars.
