: Turbo wsucowboy 04-25-2004, 01:33 AM Does anyone know if the turbo's on the LB7's have a silencer ring? I have a Dodge CTD and i took out the silencer on it and it sounds sweet!! I just wanna know if anybody knows if there is one on the Dmax before i tear it apart to find out, it'll save me a good 2 minutes of having to pull the intake hose.... thanks for your help! -Jeff White Duramax 04-25-2004, 01:20 PM From what I have heard there isnt one. Ditto on the AFE. wsucowboy 04-25-2004, 09:06 PM damn alaskaduramax 05-12-2004, 01:59 AM what's the diff between a k&n fipkII and the afe stage 2 in sound characteristics, i'm running the k&n with stock exhaust and when i run with all the windows down, i get a nice sounding whistle even with the stock muffler. i am considering a banks 4" exhaust to see if it becomes more pronounced as i desire the whistle!
