I' ve recently installed the Mike L. cooler, the Allison deep pan, changed the internal & spin-on filters and put in Torque Drive synthetic fluid in my Allison. My tranny temps are still upwards of 175* in city traffic with 80* air temps... On the highway, it hangs out about 150+. (No towing on any of the above).

What tranny temps are other's seeing these days?

A lot higher than that. Mine regularly sits at about 210 just driving around town unloaded.

I still think Killerbee's cooling mod ducting for the stack is the way to go.
Haven't tried it ...yet. :)

Mine is all stock. When the outside temp is about 80 degrees, mine fully warmed up runs about 160-170. Oddly enough, when I recently changed the fluid, I believe that I put in a little too much. A few days later, I drained off nearly a pint, putting the reading about 3/4's the way up the "full hot". After doing that my temps now are running about 20 degrees cooler than the 180-190 degrees that it had been doing. Go figure??????????

Mine stay upwards of 200 degrees all the time. Outside temps are ~55-60 right now.

Mine has never gone above 150. Usually sits around 125.

I have 8600 miles on the truck, did a filter change at 5000 miles and added Lubegard Transmission Protectant.
