I have an '02 w/power windows. While washing it I noticed a small dent from the inside of my drivers door 5-6" below and to the left of the drivers handle. It looks like someone hit it with a prick punch from the inside. The interior panel has never been off and I have had the truck since new.


Is this a possible problem inside the door, or did I just never notice this??? Its easier to ask here than rip the door panel off if its a warranty issue.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

It could be the window regulator hit the door skin.....take it to the dealer and have the service manager look at it....

The svc manager at my local GMC dealer is a real*%&%#$^&$%. He like to wait "till its not their problem" to admit something is wrong. I was hoping to hear that this has happened on a couple other trucks before dealing with them. He always says thats "odd we havent heard of that happening before" on past problems. Latest was tailgate cables.
