Got the auto enginuity software and have been messing for a few weeks getting some issues with the IPAQ and software to communitcate with the truck worked out. Anyway today I am messing and thought that I would see if the KO KO hold pedal to the floor thing would change the tdc offset. Well it sure did and now I have a 216 and 1214 code and the truck runs like sh*t. Can't get it to relearn and I am mad as all get out at myself for messing up something that was running perfect. I think I am going to undo the bump and see what happens... TDC Before KO/KO +.44 TDC after KO/KO +2.65
any other suggestions ??

If the unbump don't work with the ko/ko thingy you'll have to move the pump towards the drivers side about 2mm to get to the negative side of life. Ko/ko will only work correctly if above 170F, best above 180F, codes must be cleared before playing with the key thingy.
Betcha your killing mosquito's pretty good with +2.65

Couldn't get the optic unbumped, I am missing my T40.
The coolant has always been 180 +
yes it pretty much is fogging sceeters, funny thing is though it clears up over 1500 rpm...

I've done this!!
If you move the IP back to the passengerside, start it, clear the codes on the scantool, actuate TDCO learn( I have to call it a '98 for the option to show up) and see where TDC has moved to, it should reset into range.

Thanks for the info guys,
Bumped the optic back to the scribe and started it back up this afternoon, it got up to temp hiccuped and puffed a little blue so that told me it reset itself, took it for a ride and all is well in Chris' 6.5 world.
Didn't hook the scanner back up just a little gun shy till I can hook to the laptop so I don't have any numbers, the mrs said that I couldn't cause the truck is her ride for the week as her van is having body work done cause she tried to make the garage door wider...

Maybe this will help, maybe not. When it comes to programming that stuff i'm a idiot but would like to learn.
