: A liitle off subject
TommJr 04-24-2004, 11:19 AM The reason I put this here is because this is the category everyone looks at. I joined this forum about 6 months ago and I want to extend my great appreciation to everyone who has contributed in giving new ideas and advice.
I have had my truck mis-diagnosed twice. I told my dealer mechanic about this site and he was very appprehensive about checking it out. Guess what, he will not tell me, but I think he logs here to get quick advice.
I am not trying to steal (Diesel Power)s Thunder but I really appreciate seeing guys like dmaxallitech and gmworldclassmaster here. Everyone else is just as important, but it just lets the little guy in on a large companies inside views and warranty ideas.
If I misssed anyone else I apologize, I'm trying not to single anyone out. You all are great people.
Thanks for all your Ideas and knowledge!
2MuchFun 04-24-2004, 11:36 AM I agree!

StraitDiesel 04-24-2004, 06:29 PM Very much appreciated... it's great in a society like ours to still have individuals that can get together and share information and knowledge... and to have individuals so willing to help a (online) neighbor. Thank you to every member of "The Place"
Dan

dmaxallitech hooked me up big time! You can't beat having real techs hanging out that understand your needs!
Thanks to all that contribute faithfully without asking anything in return.
GMworldclassmaster 04-24-2004, 07:35 PM My sudjestion....If your veh. has benn misdiag...2 times...RUN to another dealership, I'll bet money the tech has no formal training on the D-MAX. As for the thumbs up from everyone....It actually makes our job easier when you have the correct information....My pleasure.
dmaxalliTech 04-24-2004, 10:18 PM Its great having a place to hang out on the ' other side of the fence' so to speak. I think that us techs learn as much from the customers as you guys pick up from us. Its a win/win for both of us.
