The running lights on my trailer quit working (all truck lights still work), the brake and turn signals on the trailer still work...

First thing I checked, was for 12 volts from the truck at the running lights pin, on the 7 pin RV recepticle that came on the truck from the factory...

No voltage from the truck is being supplied to the trailer, no wonder they dont work...

Does anyone have any idea why this one pin lost power? I checked the fuses, didnt see any blown fuses, but I did run out of daylight...

Why would just the running lights loss power?

My first guess is you have a blown fuse. My second guess is you have a blown fuse. The trailer has a separate circuit from the truck circuits on the DMax. Make sure your checking the TRAILER fuses.

Now all I gotta do is find that trailer fuse box, is it in or ne3xt to the main fuse box under the hood?

Like I said, it got dark last night...

BTW I just mooved from Santa Clara less than a year ago, I could see and hear the rides at Great America in my back yard...

Thanks...

No, it is under the dash, next to the steering column. IIRC you have to take off the lower dash piece. It is only a couple of screws and then it just pulls out. I had this problem when I first bought my truck.

I think the trailer is incompatible with your truck. I'll take it. Thanks in advance! ;) ...then I'll check the fuse...

The fuse for the trailer runnign lights is in the under hood fuse box. It is labled "TRL PARK" 15amp upper left corner by a couple of relays.

Now you have to find out why the fuse blew in the first place.

Could be a problem with your truck or more likely your trailer wiring.

No problem...

Mine had done the same thing. One of the connectors had come loose from the light and was grounding on the trailer frame. Didn't realize mine were out until I had a full set of red and blue lights on behind me!

One of the trailer lights had to be replaced after someone driving the lawnmower broke it, the lense was broken and had been open to the weather for some time. It was after I replaced it, when checked the lights, I found the running lights were not working.

Thanks...
