I'm going to install a diode on my boost pressure sensor. I've already got the diode and to me, it looks pretty delicate. Can I put a heat shrink over the entire diode?

I had no problem heat shrinking my diodes when I did my headlight job. You shouldn't hurt them.

speaking of diodes i changed my headlight mod diode, and wait to start remote start diode to a mini fuse type they are 1 amp and pretty cool. tyey would fit in a mini fuse holder like you find at the auto parts store. i installed them in a packard connector body though. heres a link where i got mine, hope it works

thanks for answering the electrical greenhorns' question.:) as far as electronics are concerned, I can get around the on/off switches ok. Diodes and resistors are uncharted territory for me;)
