what kind of bed? Short/long/dually? Find a place that does truck bodies you can usually get a new take off bed for a reasonable price from them.

Not as resonable as you think A used bed in poor shape still isn't cheap. One of the ladies I work with messed hers up. Hit a tree in her driveway, once coming in once going out, that's right, hit the same tree twice. She has been looking for a new bed for about 6 months now and still hasn't found one at a cheap price. She was getting prices in the 1500 to 2000 range.
Best bet is probly to contact local salvage yards or towing companies and find out if any have a truck that was in a collision.
Good luck.

You might find a local company that puts on utility beds. There is one near my town Monroe Custom Bodies that used to often sell brand new beds as take offs. Nowadays they get trucks in directly that don't have beds, mostly Fords.

Best bet would probably be a junkyard, might even find one in the same color.

Try contacting co's that do truck bodies like was mentioned. Even the local dealership is a possibility if they have a com fleet deal that does lotsa upfits....but they generaly farm that out.....

Sorry for the poor info, its a -01 GMC Sierra crewcab/shortbed and its white,my biggest problem is that im located in Sweden.
The truck has a california salvage title but the only thing that looks bad on it is the bed. The reason i want to buy it is that it is very cheap (for being in Sweden)Its the cheapest Duramax in sweden at 20000$ in salestax. The next one is like 28k + 25% salestax. Its a total of like 20 for sale over here and most of them cost around 55-60k+25% salestax.

Around West Palm Beach, FL truck beds are available from utility truck bed sellers by the dozen. They have them stacked up waiting for buyers.

Sorry for the "no help" response, but if I had to pay 25% sales tax on a vehicle, I'd steal one.:badidea: And I thought Washington was a rip-off at around 9%...
