I have a Class c motorhome based upon a 2005 Kodiak C5500 chassis (LLY). I am considering a Diablo Predator for it. I would not go beyond the first power upgrade, i.e. 40HP and 100Lbs. of torque. When I look at Allison's specs on the 1000MH trans however, it shows input power of 340HP and input torque of 550 Lbs; the first power upgrade on the Predator woud take me to 340HP and 620 Lbs. of torque. Should I be concerned enough to scrap the idea or am I being overly cautious? Also, would I achieve the increased HP and Torque at the RPM's the original 300HP and 520 Lbs. torque were achieved at?
