OK....we have done some R&D. Part number STK-3001 will fit from 01-06 Chevy Trucks. This is a 1/2" pick-up tube that eliminates your stock pickup. Its an easy install and will stop any low fuel FASS issues. You do have to drop the tank to install.
ALSO a note...we have had reports that the 95 GPH FASS pumps are sucking the cup dry as well.......hope this helps!:ro)

So just a straight tube down to the bottom of the tank? What happens when I'm on an incline and the tank is at 1/4 tank?

from what i rember the problem is the returning fule throu the filler introduses air bubbles in to the tank when low because it moves so much fuel (splashing .. ect.) couldent a return line be set up to jsut dump back in at the bottem in the level of the fuel kinda like a supply line would
i think that makes since
or am i thinking of soemthing els ?

What is the size on the stock pickup. I'm having fuel problems a full throttle and think the pickup is at fault.Truck runs good up to 3/4 throttle. Running 150gph stand alone.

Well the bubbles that the return fuel make are fall less than the fuel sloshing around due to truck movment. And the FASS can handle thoes bubbles no prob!):h
With the 1/2" pick-up installed, i would fill up when the fuel light comes on. I would not let it get down to the nitty gritty. Not smart with a diesel anyway. A big enough hill would give the stock sending unit fits with a low tank.
