: power on Attitude settings?

I've read the Edge manual, but I don't see my question
addressed there, so I might as well ask here.

When I set the Attitude backlighting to where I
like it - how do I get it to keep that setting
after key-off? When I restart the truck, the
backlighting goes back into BRIGHT and I have
to turn it back down/off....

Also, any recommendations on low-boost fueling?
(set it to 5 most responsive?)

What about defuel on shift? Should I set
it to only defuel on the 4-5 shift?

Sorry if this has already been covered, I didn't
see it addressed when I did my search....

Thanks for any insight!

T.

sdaver,

I thought defuel was for UNbuilt trannys, for protection. I have mine set to defuel all locked shifts, as my tranny is stock. Do I have this backward?

I'm pretty sure sdaver means turning the defuel OFF is for build trannys only.

If you stick it on the most responsive you should probably change your oil more often. It makes quite a bit more smoke/soot when you first get on her. I change my oil every 5k now even though 90% of my miles are highway and the oil change guy probably would say I could go 10k. Dont know if this is right or wrong or not but its what I do.

I have it set to defule on all the shifts, I'm kinda a puss though. Defuleing for 4-5 is a must though.
