I have decided on a fuel tank to install in my crew cab 4wd long bed LBZ.... The transferflow In. (TFFI) 50 gal toolbox combo.
I looked at Zylstra, Northern tool, KSH Marine, aero tanks, Taylor wings and American tanks.
The TFFI tank seems to be rated tops in quality, instructions and customer support. It is also the only tank that you can keep track of gallons used.
Will place the order this afternoon and hopefully have it installed before our first 5th wheel trip!
I think I wore out the search function reading and learning all the different systems available. Thanks for your help!

Enjoy your Transfer Flow. I have their 45-gal underneath and the American Tank 45-gal aux./tool version in the bed. I love it! I get over 1000 miles cruising range (no load) depending on conditions. Sometimes over 1100, but city driving is about 950miles.

Do you cry when you have to fill up?

Just go to gaspricewatch.com or AAA and search for the cheapest diesel prices in areas you will be around. You would be surprised at the differences, even locally

I don't cry when I fill up as much because I can fill up when I want and have the extra time to do it and choose where I do it. Here in Melbourne, FL I always fill up at our local truck stop where diesel runs about 2-3 cents less than 87 octane. I've seen many places, though, that sell diesel at a HIGHER price than 93 octane!
As mentioned on the other threads, the ride quality is great. I recently took my family to KY 1000 miles away. We drove there and did all of our visiting and didn't have to refill until we started our return to KY. When I filled up in KY (at a great price, BTW), I didn't have to fill up again until I'd returned back to work and went two weeks.

No tears, just comfort knowing that when I go into areas devistated by storms/disaster that I don't need to wait in line for 6+ hours to fill up my tank.
