Just wondering if any of you have installed the Banks Six-Gun on your 600 Cummins yet? If so, any thoughts?

Banks is currently testing the six gun for the 600 motor. It will probably be out for purchase by this summer. They do make a Six-Gun for the 305/555 motor, it is available from Banks.

I've been considering the Six Gun for the 305/555. Do any of you have any personal experience this this combination?

Nobody in my area has one yet on a Dodge. Just from experience for Duramax, it's more of a tow box than a race box. Very impressive #'s when it gets "pulled down". I DO like it, even though I don't pull anything. My 1/4 mile went from 16.2 to 15.3. If you look at the dyno graphs for the Dodge vs. the Duramax, you'll see that it would likely help the Dodge more in a race than the GM, just the way the hp and tq curves are. I would say that if you pull trailers, etc, it would be the only tuner I would consider. It holds it's own as far as racing goes, but isn't the fastest out there.

I was talking to one of the advisors at the dealer and he had mentioned that most of the companies have been having problems tuning the new Cummins. I'm not sure if he was talking about the 600/325 or the 555/305.

He was talking about the 600 motor. It has been thru alot of testing so far. They still haven't released it yet. If I were selling a product like a 6 gun I would want to do alot of testing first myself.

I do have the speedloader on my six-gun. My mileage on the Duramax went up about 1 - 1.5 mpg. I run it on level 4 all the time.

Thanks for all the info guys! Do any of you have experience with additions beyond the six gun such as injector upgrades, turbo upgrades, etc? I've looked at http://www.dieseldynamics.com and they seem to have some of these items available, but I haven't ever seen them discussed in the forums. Your thougts?

The Banks shouldn't make your Dodge smoke hardly anymore than it already does. It's now emissions legal in all the states. My Duramax smokes just a hint, but it also did this stock. I realize we are talking about two engines here, but I doubt you will see any more smoke than you do now. I believe no other tuner has passed the emissions test, which leads me to believe all of the others will make it smoke much more, such as Edge. That may or may not be a good thing, depending on what you want.
