I need to take my J/A out for a trip to the dealer tomorrow. If I take out the box and the monitor, is it ok to leave the pyro probe in the exhaust manifold and the plug ends not hooked to anything, or will this hurt anything.


I am taking it in to get the tow/haul button checked, figured they wouldn't be looking in the engine compartment.


If I need to take the probe out, does anybody know off hand what size cap I will need to plug the hole?

No need to remove Pyro ...

Should I tape up the metal ends at least, or is there no chance of a short if there's no power?

Should be a non issue .... Mine just hangout off the Edge box under the hood no problems ...
