Looking at the rims, it looks like that is a new HD. The center caps seem very similar to the current OEM center caps on HD rims.

Yeah, it looks like three lug nuts on less than half the circumference (ergo: eight total), so that makes it an HD.

Glad I bought an '06.
Looks like they've gotten into the "cargo capacity war" that Ford and Toyota started.
Toyota jacked up the bed height on the DoubleCab Tundra and touted it as "x" more cargo capacity than F150.
Ford jacked up their bedsides.
Problem is, especially on an HD, you have to be over 6ft to be able to reach into the bed. Once you put a cab-high shell on, you're back to having exactly the same cargo capacity that you had with the old bed... you just have more steel and less fiberglass.
They are totally destroying the designs as "working" vehicles. These engineers should have to load and unload equipment all day and quit listening to soccer moms who want to use a 3500 dually for groceries.

It also looks like the back of the cab on the GMT900 pickups will extend rearward over the bed, like the F150, Tundra, etc. _ The F250, Dodge & GMT800 pickups are not like that.
Why does it matter? In addition to complicating the design of truck caps that fit a specific truck, it also makes it much more difficult to fit standard service beds and utility caps, which are generic fit.
But maybe GM doesn't care about work truck market anymore. If they're actually eliminating the manual transmission even on the base pickups, it seems that way.

I guess we will just have to wait and see, maybe it will grow on me but for now I am not sure I like the direction they are taking!! I also think despite the opinions of others the interior looks square and cheap!!! I will be in the market for another new truck in about 20 years once my 06 wears out!!):h :D
