Does it hurt to switch the 40 and 65 setting back and forth week to weekend? I pull a 3 horse trailer on weekends but nothing during the week. The 25 HP does make a little difference when you want to pass someone in a hurry. The mileage seems about the same with both. I know some of you are in this same situation and can give me some good advise.
Thanks!:confuzeld

We change ours several times a week. We normally run 40 towing and the higher ):h settings MT.

The only thing I would worry about is the .0001% chance the tuning process will lock up the ECM. It happens to all ECM tuners but very rarely.
General advice for all:
If you are going to use an uploader alot, you should keep a spare ECM handy. SoCalDiesel.com has them at less than dealer price. They are easy to resell, so think of it as an insurance policy.

that .0001% sure did happen to me with the Predator rv2.02, locked up the ECM and nothing would fix it, not even a tech 2, had to overnight it back to DiabloSport to get fixed

Thanks for all the advise. I think I will not chance it and just switch it back when I know I won't be towing for a while.

There are products that allow you to shift your LLY "on-the-fly" and do not risk the ECM:
Edge w/attitude
Edge EZ
Van Aaken
Banks 6-Gun
EFILive DSP2
Perhaps an Edge EZ might be a better choice for you.
