I was browsing the suncoast site and ran across there valve body upgrade. So whats special about it and what does it do? The description on the sight is lacking.

increased line pressure, replace a couple spool valves and springs. I'm not an expert, but I think the main thing is to increase the main line pressure inside your tranny. Provides better holding power for the clutches.

is it an upgade to a stock trans, or is it an upgrade to one of the suncoast kits?

Is is basicly the Transgo shift kit. You can do it seperate from a kit. Sounds like guys are running just the Transgo and a triple disk TC an are holding up to lots of power.

For $750 - it has to be more than a transgo kit.

No, I just got the transgo kit with mine. That why I thought it was that.

i just didnt know if the transgo with the kit was pretty much the same as adding the valve body. or will the vbody be benificial to the upgraded trans with a transgo

i dunno, I guess I didn't see that part, the transgo kit is only like 180 bucks
