I know this probably isn't the best place to ask this particular question, but you guys know everything else so why not! I have gotten into a 2001 Z71. I want now to get some different wheels and tires. I want to keep the 16's but go a little wider. Can I go 16x10? What backspacing whould I purchase? Will 285's go well with that combination? I appreciate any help. Thank you

i dont think a 285 on a 16x10 will work and unless you are higher than stock height. you did not provide any details about the truck so we really cant help you.

I had a 99 1500 Z71 with Stock wheels and 285's wheel wells were full though. Not sure what the bigger wheels would do.
