Hi Guys, I know this topic has been beat to death, but I still have a few???'s. Who makes the QUIETEST system out there? Im OK with costs, just looking for the added benifits without getting too loud. Also is there a system that maintains the factory 135* degree exit angle? ( I like the look ) From what I 've read, it sounds like magnaflow is a quiet choice?? I've been considering DPP and Kennedy. I can deal with throatty, just not obnoxious like a glasspak, or no muffler at all. Thanks for your opinions. I have a CC LB DuallyEdited by: skidsteerloader

Let's see... You want a quiet system with the factory 135 degree exit angle...... I recommend a nice system manufactured by GM. You can find it on almost every new duramax diesel on the road. Best of all it can be picked up for next to nothing. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big%20Smile.gif

Max Power has a good point. You could just change out the restrictive stock muffler for a more free flowing one and get some good egt benefits as well as a quiet sound. I know a few people who have done this and been very satisfied.

skidsteerloader,

The guys are correct, any exhaust that will improve flow and lower EGT's on a Duramax will be louder than stock, no options unless you add double mufflers etc etc and even then it will be louder than stock.

The outlet angle of the MBRP systems we distribute is pretty close to the angle you're after though, so that's a plus. We have them in aluminized, T-409 and T-304 stainless as well as in single and dual designs.

Call us if we can help with any questions etc.
