Are the CC long beds still 34 gallon tanks? I filled up the other day after my gauge was on "E" and the low fuel light came on. Only able to squeeze 29.03 gallons in it. My DIC said less than 24 miles left. I have an '04 GMC LLY and wondered if they are cutting back on tank size for cost savings????

Still 34, I put 32 in mine just about everytime. I run about 15 miles past when the light comes on. '04 LLY std. cab long box

Being a std cab v/s crew cab make a difference??? How can I still have 5 gallons before my light comes on and DIC say less than 24 miles left???? Is my sender out of wack?

Not sure if your sender is out of wack but all long beds have the same fuel tank, 34 gal. Try running it until the light comes on then 15 miles more. See if you end up where I do at just under/over 32 gals.

Remember , according to the fuel light post, depending on how much weight you're carrying in back, or whether or not your torsion bars are cranked, you can get the light to come on with anywhere from 1 to 5 gallons left in the tank.
