I installed a Boost Stick and EGR Blocker plate last weekend but backed out the 40 HP Predator tune back to stock tune so I could send the Predator back for a software upgrade to version 2.02 . My question is should I pull the Boost Stick until I get the Predator back and install the 40 or 65 HP tune again?

I would because "I personally" found that the truck was a little slower with just the boost stick.

shouldn't matter.
Thanks for replying, Fingers. Can you tell us why?

There are many folks around here running the BS on an otherwise stock dmax. Should be fine.

I have ran mine stock with the BS a lot and no trouble at all. I would just leave it.

My understanding is that the BS worked with a tuner that increased the fuel and without the tuner there would not be an optimum fuel to air ratio. Maybe I am still thinking in gasser terms?

Gasser terms. Fuel helps spin the turbo and produce boost. W/O fuel the engine will struggle a little to make the boost. No harm done. Worst case is a slight impact to performance.

Mine runs better with the BS when I have the Tune out of it than it did pre-BS. Tonight will be my first tow with our new travel trailer and the BS, running the Predator V2.02 on 40. Can't wait..............
