I cranked up my t-bars this weekend, to fit the 285's with wheels underneath. The truck leveled out with out being totally cranked.
left rear-40 13/16
left front- 40 5/8
right rear- 4015/16
right front- 40 7/8

The left side is cranked more than the right side already and still not equal. The top of the front tires are tilted in somewhat when looking down the truck from the rear tire. Is this normal and will an alignment straighten it out or should I lower the t-bars on the truck down some to bring the top of the front tires back out?

I have read the other threads but cannot find the info I am looking for.
Thank you for your help

I cranked mine up last week. I experienced the same issues you did. The left side was cranked more than the right, but still not equal...of course the fuel tank is on that side too.

Anyway, when mine went into the alignment shop they had to let it down about an inch to get it in line.....or at least that's what they are claiming. I have cranked torsion bars on 6-7 trucks and never had a problem with gettting an alignment. I think when I get time I will take it to another alignment shop and see what happens then.

I went 9 turns LH and 7.5 RH which got me about level side to side and 1/2" rake down to front. Aligned the next day. It came within spec, but I'm completely out of caster adjustment and nearly out of camber. Otherwise it drives fine and wear patterns are fine.

sounds like the same amount of cranks I used. Nine on the left and seven on the right. They couldn't seem to get mine to line up though. Hopefully another alignment shop will be able to do it....if not, I guess I may just get a lift!

Level it left to right.

If one front corner is down, the opposite rear will come up slightly.
