Finally went and did it. Had a flying lesson at 9 and then went on down and ordered "the truck".....
2004 D/A CC SB LS
Sandstone, Dark Cloth
XM Radio
Auto. Climate Control
Elec. Transfer Case
Steering Wheel Controls
Fogs
Roof Marker Lights
Not really sure what else to add on there. That's about all I know that was added beyond the LS package. I am REALLY excited. Dealer said the Dmaxes have been coming in about 8 weeks, how long has it been taking other people to get their trucks?? Oh, I am in North Central Washington State.

I would also add G80-Locking Differential,
Buckets and console are nice,
if you plan on a aftermarket sound/video system get the dual alternators,
If you are going to tow at any time the 5th wheel prewiring is nice to have, as well as a hitch.
Then save a few thousand for the aftermarket mods................

2004 GMC sle cc lb d/a 4x4 ordered 09/09
I asked for the dual alternators and the salesman thought I was nuts. I explained that I would be adding a decent amp system and lights/siren for my use as a firefighter and he still thought I was nuts. I don't think he had a clue about electrical systems. IIRC, the option was $224 and that is fairly cheap compared to adding an aftermarket system or at least the ones I have installed before. Of course, the salesman also thought I was nuts for wanting the rubberized vinyl flooring too.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Wickedspirit,
Thank you for your offer. I'm getting pretty close to being through with my lessons hopefully. 6 more night landings and my solo cross country, and then I will be ready for the check ride. I feel very confident about my skills as I have been flying with my Dad in is 182 since I could see over the cowl. I am a little intimidated by my written though. Do you know of any place on the internet that has practice exams that I could take??
