hello everybody;can anyone tell me if a 6.5 with center turbo from a van will fit a 82 style truck with air? small modification ok. any advice apreciated. anyone ever atempted this before.

The C4500 -up trucks have oem factory modified sheetmetal for larger six-cylinders, to varying lengths, can be pop-riveted and sealed (or MIG'ed) to clear van\hummer turbo and exhaust.


It's spot-welded\sealed in those big trucks.


Also has modified heater ducting for inside clearance. AC and all else is identical to the 1500 - 3500 body.

be carefull to get the correct heads!!!!! I think the intake bolts are vertical to the ground on the van intake manifolds. Somebody else with more experience should confirm.
