Company truck has 146k, hard starting, dealer says 5 bad injectors bad. They will replace all at 1/2 price with new style injector. Question is I did't know there was a new style injector. Cost is gonna be around $1500.00.

geno, that is a big time bargain. Far cry from the $4200 bill a new friend of mine just paid. Later! Frank

Got the truck back and runs and starts like a new one, Total bill was $1781.03. This was for labor and the factory picked up the parts. This is the third time this truck has had injector problems. First was at around 40k (2 injectors an pump) second time 103k (8 injectors factory paid after big argument) then this time. I think the only reason they helped this time is we have the dealer do all scheduled maint and we change fuel filter every other time the oil is changed so they could not pass the blame to us. Wonder how long these will last?

If Gm knows they have a problem with these injectors they should cover ALL cost. They are telling us that by giving parts free of charge!
