Went out to my pickup today and found my driver side floor mat full of water. I have some heavy floor mats so they hold a lot of water. It has been raining for a few days now but just started sometime in the last day or so. I found this link and the pictures there are the same pictures I took today. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32329&highlight=Water+Leak+Dash The discription stated about the cast web etc is the exact same thing as mine. I had the dash all pulled out and the cowl by the windsheild. Any ideas on the solutions. Seems like everybody left the post without any answers.

Replacing the front windshield you mean? Good.

Correct, Front Windsheild. My theory is that the leak didn't start until I decided to put a bug sheild on. Drove it for 1 day in the wind listening to the windsheild seals by the door rattle in the wind. The next day there is water all over the floor. When I had them replace the windsheild I showed them my thoughts and they sealed the trim good to stop the rattle. No more leak. They said they get a lot of gm pickups in with the noise from the trim and end up sealing them.

mine only leaks when it rains and it sits over night. it leaks somewhere up near the top of the a-pillar and pours down onto the dash closest to the seat and drips off. i had the windshield replaced about two months ago. weatherstriping is fine, seals on shield seem fine. i pressured tested it with a hose and couldnt replicate a leak. only when it sits over night does it seem to have time to congregate and puddle up behind the foam of the headliner right at the top of the drivers side a-pillar. any ideas on that one?

I have seen where guys were "readjusting" the door seal trim. I would look at the screws that hold the seal on the pillar on top. Seems to me that is the only way to get into the a pillar. I think if the roof antennas were leaking you would see on the headliner. Guys told me at the window shop that if the window isn't properly sealed will drip on the dash. Mine was coming down the a pillar i think with the door seal. See if you door/window seal by the a pillar is loose. After I put the bug guard on it made a ton of noise on both sides. The seal is held on by 5 screws if i remember right and there is simply a plastic insert in the a pillar that screw goes into. I had them seal the whole works up so I can't peal the trim back. They also put a dab on the screws.

Opened my door the other day and my truck was full of water. I could'nt figure out were it was coming from until I remembered that my three year old was in my truck the day before and had left one of my back windows open. I closed the window now all is fine.):h
