: A different reflash question?

Has anyone experienced a change in the rpm. that the pilot injection shuts off after the surge reflash?
My truck had many parts thrown on it early in it's life (pressure regulator, injectors, EGR valve) to solve the surge. Then I was told to wait for a reflash. I rushed my truck in for some warranty work before it ran out and they reflashed it for the surge. Well typical, it is worse and over a broader rpm range.
The thing that bothers me is the pilot injection shuts off at 2400 rpm. now instead of 2700 rpm. like it has for the last 60,000km. I haven't read this from others. Is this normal? It makes me think that they installed something wrong in my ECM.
Could someone post the latest reflash # so I can check when I take it back. Thanx Geo.

How can you tell it shuts off at 2400?

Mine does the same thing. I thought it was a timing issue causing the engine rattle until one of the DP techies explained the pilot injection issue. I had one of the early updates also. I'm pulling my trailer this weekend, so I'll watch to confirm the lower RPM rattle.
