I'd like to put running boards on my truck. I've seen pictures of Putco's & Stuls online but it's hard to tell what they really look like. I'd like full boards, hoping it'll reduce the garbage spraying on the rear fenders. Opinions? Pictures? Thanks
There's some pics of mine on a thread about simulators. I took them mainly for the wheel pics, but you can see the boards as well. They're DeeZee stainless boards called "Elite".

I have the J+J Millenium Boards, they are pretty sharp looking. They are stainless so that doesnt help much with cost. Think thier site is www.jjent.com (http://www.jjent.com) . Might be under construction, as it was the last time I checked. Putcos Boss Boards are really nice too.

Skidsteer - got any pictures...yuo're right the site is under construction.
tulsa - Nice looking set up. What's the piece to the rear of the rear fenders? Those are some sharp looking wheels but that's not in my budget for this year.
Zeeb - Thanks for the info. I'll check them out

thats a rear step, that is not used as a step. it is just for looks so the running board system can appear to go all the way around.

I have the same as skidsteer and have had many compliments on them. Bed boards a little tough to install but worth it. Mine shipped just under 1300.00 to okla complete with flaps and mud guards. one thing for sure stay away from Prestigious Acessorys. This guy could care less after he gets your money and you recieve his junk that won't fit an after you return them he wont return your money and he still has the boards. Having to get the lawyers after him. Go the JJ you will like them.

I have a 2006 GMC Dually. I am looking for running boards for the cab and bed. Anyone have current pictures or suggestions? All of the posted replies are from 2004.

John and Skid....them are some great looking running boards!!!! But with all the salt they put on the roads here in MI, I have a heck of a time keeping them polished!

I have the J&J. The salt on the roads bonds with the stainless steel giving me huge problems in getting them clean and shiny in the spring.
According the J&J, the only cure is Mother's Metal Polish and huge amounts of elbow grease. I can say it works, but what a waste of time.
J&J boards for the sun belt only.
For the rest of us, I would seriously consider fiberglass boards if I had it to do again since they do not react with salt.
Good luck !
