I have a FASS stand alone tied into the stock fuel line and also have a strainer between the tank and liftpump. With a big tune i am not getting enough fuel to the motor, also throwing code P0088 ( fuel rail pressure to high) Might have problems with regulator. Wondering if I should run a larger fuel line up to the C3P ?

Hello Mattmac1, I am running a PPE Hot + 2 tune on max (290 hp) fueling it with a single Kennedy lift pump and a boost controller. I have had no problems to speak of. Lots of smoke when I nail it. Havent hit any p1093 codes yet. I don't know about your EGT reading that low because mine will reach 1500 + real quick when I have my foot into it. (I would suspect your assumption of having a fueling problem is correct for that low of EGT's). My lift pump lines are 1/2 inch just like the factory. I am ignorant to your po008 code. I have heard that the fass system had problems when tank levels get lower. Good luck.

First thing is to get a fuel pressure reading from the HPFP. Do you have the 95 or 150 GPH pump? Both should be fine for what you have. I would look for any restrictions in the lines. Dirty fuel filter, pinched line, stuff like that. ALSO.....goto DPP's web site and go through the trouble shooting manual. (link in my sig) Its under the customer service section on the main page. Try a few things there. im thinking the 5 gallon bucket test. BUT you need to get a fuel pressure from the HPFP. You would know real quick if you were running out of fuel. Pressure should be around 8-10 PSI @ idle. Let us know what you find.

Running the 150 GPH, pretty sure it is O.K. Almost sure my problems are in the fuel rail. Changing out filter anyways ( only 1000km on it), cheapest place to start, also installing a hi-flow inline filter between tank and liftpump. BTW GM knows there is a problem with the pressure relief valve and do have a replacement when they fail, different from the original, according to my tech.

I have the Airdog 95GPH pump and have seen the code that indicates the fuel pressure is too high.
This would usually occur cold not hot. Typically what I have heard is that the pressure you should measure at the Test port should be no larger than 9psi for the problem to go away.
It is also possible...I believe that some of us have defective or marginal Fuel pressure regulators because others have pumps that run higher than 9psi without problems.

Everything checked out OK, could not repeat P0088 code at dealer ( of course), everything running with in parameters. Seems to have better aceleration, but only at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle (96mph in 1/4mi) full throttle ( 87mph):wtf1: Could there be a problem with fuel regulater at the pump not noticeable at normal driving conditions? Or should I look into an aftermarket fuel pickup?? :banghead:
1/4mi speeds are estimated from GPS and speedo. No boost launch
Taking bids on 05 lilly;)
