Hey,

Where was this guide? Online? 2007 will have more emmissions related stuff on them. ( particulate trap, etc. ) Probably enough to make an order code change!!

I was told from a sales manager friend of mine at our dealership that the 2007 will look like the 2007 Tahoe from the front.

The 2007 Silverado & Sierra will look exactly like the 2006 models.

The 2008 Silverado & Sierra front ends do not look exactly like the 2007 Tahoe & Yukon.
In fact, as the recent GMI spy photo proved, even the interiors are different.

it's not in the order guide..sorry I was a little tipsy last night. You have to go to order workbench and configure a new vehicle. Then select a HD and go from there. You will see it there in engine choices.

Is the "order workbench" accessible only by dealers, or is it online?
If it's online, do you have a link?

just got my wife an 07 Subarban last week. My salesman said they are going to make both body styles at frist. Also said they will cost$2200.00 more because of the new emissions. They will be out later this year. New subarban very nice, going to make the truck to nicefor a work truck like this.

Don't hold your breath. The Diesel option in the Sub makes perfect sense, and now that Ford has dropped the Excursion, the Sub would be the only SUV with a diesel option, so GM won't do it.

Just as I was hoping for the Quadrasteer to become an option on the HD and Duramax equipped trucks, but no, GM said that there wasn't enough demand for the option. Did they advertise it as an everyday use option in the Suburbans? No. Did they offer it on the trucks that needed it most, crewcab longbeds? No. Did the offer it on the lower end trucks? No. If you offer something that innovative make the public aware of it and offer it an affordable price, not a $7000.00 option, (when I got mine, the price dropped to $1800, well worth the price). If the option costs that much, then amortize it across the whole line like a price increase of $200 per vehicle. Geez this isn't rocket science and I didn't even graduate college.

Just my $0.02

Nobody said you had to be a smart person to run a company....its just that stupid people run their companies into the ground....

BTW, if you want a diesel Suburban, buy a 3/4 ton and install a Duramax/Allison.

But ford dropped the excursion because it wasn't selling period, and some of that was it was too big to fit in most garages. With the push for fuel economy, maybe GM will come up with one for the burb. Heard the new motor in the subs weren't getting near the economy people expected, a D Max detuned to a 300HP might get over 20 and up the sales.
