I was at a light, went to take off slowly and before I noticed it the truck died?? I then pulled to the side and turned it off, then started it, and it fired right back up? This is the first time this has happend? It's an 03' with intake , exhaust, Edge v1.30. I also have the Granitellie tuner stacked with it's economy tune. Just use it for the speed limiter. Engine temp. was about 165 deg. Just wondering if anyone can help me out??
Thanks

I had a similar problem on mine, turns out it was the edge box. It would just die randomly and then eventually would fire back up. After lots of head scratching I called edge and they asked for serial number off box. They sent me a new box at no charge and I have never had that problem again.

Thats good to know! Ill have to give them a call and see what they say. I guess I have to wait and see if it does it again? However I do remember a few times actually, comeing from a light the truck would kinda stall for just a sec. then run fine? Just a slight, almost stop in the motor. like it missed on a cyl.?? guess this time it just died when it did it??
Thanks again all your help is much apreciated.

I have had the same problem, though it is a very occasional thing. If I can get off the throttle quick enough, the engine does not die.
My Edge/Attitude is almost 2 years old and may need an updated firmware. I should give them a call.

Edge issue. No problem. Contact EDGE and let them know. The'll take care of you. Have the serial number and the manufacture date on hand. Disconnect the unit until replaced, never know when it'll crap out again.....

Boost Hard, your problem may or may not be edge related. I just suggested this as a possibility. My original edge worked great for over 2yrs and 80k miles. My new one is yet to have issues and is over 60k miles and 1 1/2 yrs old. Did not cost me any money out of pocket to get edge to replace my unit, just a few days without it.

Durabeast - - very good point!! "probable cause", NOT definite.... Boost - disconnect it and try it without the Juice for a week or so, then plug it back in and try it again. Durabeast is correct and I jumped the gun a bit early. It might not be related to the Juice. It is a possibility, but only that.

Ya, Im not sure? It hasent done it at all lately? Im gonna take the granatellie tuner and put it on the stock setting. Im just useing it for the speed limiter anyway. thanks for all the replies all your help is greatly apreciated. The truck has 64,000 miles on it. I recently bought it at Transwest about 4 months ago. Never had any problems with it, except they had to replace both window switches:rolleyes: Im not sure what they did and did not replace as far as filter and fluids??
Thanks again, Brandt
