I'm having problems finding a leak on the passenger's side of the truck. I've had it to the dealership twice and they can't find where it is at. They say they run water on it for about an hour and still nothing. I get the floor board pading dried out and the next big rain come and it get wet again. I think I've narrowed it down to it coming from underneath. I haven't install anything on that side of the truck. Any ideals would be great.

Try some food coloring and add it to a garden sprayer ( red for under the truck Green for above the truck ) and see what come through. If you see "red" and I'm sure you are seeing red, couldn't resist, anyway, if you see red under truck now use blue on one section under truck, yellow, under yet another section etc.

A lot of work, but that's all I got.

What kind of truck do you have? I had a simular problem with my "ex 95 Yukon". Water was spraying up from the rear wheels, getting into a small hole where the inner fender panels where welded together above the rear tires, then running down the inside of the body panel. The water could not get down to the rock panels and drain out because the factory fills that area with foam. Dug out the foam and filled the hole in the fender. Pulling out all the carpet to get rid of the mould was not fun. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif

Hope this helps.

2004 2500HD EC, LB of course Duramax. I doubt it is coming clear from the rear cause only my front passenger floor padding is getting wet. You can tell that it is getting wet from the cornor near the Passenger wheel and working its way into the truck. Nothing in the rear is getting wet or on the drivers side. My next step is to go and get a can of under coating and spray all under the truck near that area to see if it is the cause.

Take it to a windshield shop, they have a thing like a sonar that will find it.

Had one like this myself once, the leak drove me crazy trying to find it. They found it in about 15 minutes and plugged it, no more problems ever.
