Yes on the 01's and 02's there is 200k mile warrenty while the 03's and 04's are debateable sometimes they are sometimes they are not.

The reason for this is early injectors had problems in the design which caused them to fail prematurly.

7 years with no deductible is the time frame

take the vin number to the dealer, I was looking at a used 02 and took the vin to the dealer and they claimed it was not covered only a certain run of vin numbers, may or not be true but that is what they told me.

I don't think the 01's should be a problem.

Can anyone confirm this? I was asking about the injector warranty at the dealership and the tech (who knew what he was talking about on my 94 6.5L) stated that unless it was a late 01, I shouldn't have a problem.

I had the injectors replaced on an 01 and now only 25,000 miles later the injectors have failed again. The service warranty on the part has a code that indicates that the repair should be covered by a lifetime GM Goodwrench repair. However since it failed one area service rep denied the repair stating that since the first repair was under warranty the lifetime repair code "W" would not be honored. :-( My local dealer said that their area repair manager has been honoring the repairs. Problem is getting the truck back to the local dealer since it is broke down over 1,000 miles away.
