hello everyone lookin to upgrade from the 05 to the 07 jus wnoderin when they will start hittin the lots any help appreciated thanks

They start with the small stuff first, cars, 1500's ect. Then they make their way up to the big boys (duramax)

I would guess prob around august.

I would buy a 2006 now, the 2007's will be dogs! due to increase emmisions. JMO

I am betting later than August.
They didn't start getting '06's until September '05.
They haven't even begun to figure out how to meet '07 emissions without loosing lots of power yet.

I agree with Sleeper, I would recommend an '06.

My guess is that you will see old body style Duramax's called 07's for quite a while. I doubt you will see a new body style duramax until 2007.

The 07`s will be hitting the car lots in early to mid Aug. But don't expect any/many changes. Some markets could see them in late July! (The next generation GM full size 2500HD, 3500`s will in next summer as 2008`s.) The power ratings for 07 will most likely be unchanged from the numbers currently seen in the 06`s. There will NOT be a rating decrease for 2007 model year!

I work for a dealer, and can say you are exactly correct.

The first 07's out are "Sierra Classic" (and Silverado Classic). They will be the same body design as the past few years. New style 07's will start sometime after the first of the year. No definite date yet, and the 2500/3500's will come after the 1/2 tons are launched. You probably have close to a year to see a "new" duramax chevy/gmc.
