I would sooner use one of the old fashioned oil filters from JC Whitney that used a roll of Toilet Paper as the filter cartridge, Remember those things? That and some reprocessed motor oil. Formula for disaster!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gif

I hope that you posted that 'tongue in cheek'. If not you better get your filter cutter out and cut your Fram and one of the other brand filters. (Hasting or Baldwin comes to mind)

Compare the Fram and how it is "GLUED" together vs the other filters.

Fram filter ruined the motor in a Chevy pickup I had.
