I am going to 265 75 16's with my next set of tires. Also thinking about a chip to set the odometer and get more power. Any experience with the Power Programmer 3 on early 'o4 or any other of the chips?

I use HyperTech III and it is a good programmer. You can adjust your tire size, read and clear DTC's and all some good power. The DiabloSport Predator is another good programmer. It also adjust tire size, lets you remove speed limiter, read and clear DTC's and had even more power.

Think about running a bigger exhaust system if you use a programmer. It will help lower EGT. Some people add a bigger air intake system, like I do, but some say the stock one is good.

Doug is right. There a million different programmers out there. I also use Hypertech and have had zero problems with it in 2 years and 44,000 miles.
