My truck was bought with every option that I wanted EXCEPT roof clearance lights. I have a big rig, and want to be seen at night! Which leads me to the question, I want the clearance lights. Is there a way of getting a kit or something to give me the lights. Thanks

I've installed the pacer light kits on a few trucks. My truck has the OEM lights, I don't see a difference in the two other than the way the wire harness plugs into the light socket. If I were going to add cab lights, those would be my selection. Those same lights from the dealer will cost you way more that that kit will. Then you'll need the harness to plug into the stockers as well. Nothing wrong with thoes pacers.

Here are some after market ones (http://www.4wheelonline.com/Products.aspx?CategoryId=2155&ProductID=9120) or you can click on the link in my sig, Eric usually has good GM stuff on his website cheaper than you can get it elsewhere. If you do a search about cab or clearance lights you will get the lowdown on everything you need to install them including where to tap into (Passenger side electronic box) to get power for them when the rest of your markers light up.

Just go to www.Reconaccessories.com and you will find the cab lights. Who wants those ugly amber warts anyway?

You can buy them for $100 shipped. I have a set and they are exactly the same as oe, and NO they dont leak.:ro)
