Mine has a reservoir ('87) about the size of a can of beans with a hose to the pump below. I've also seen the teardrop type w/o the res. What's the difference? I suppose mine holds more fluid but would I be asking for trouble if I swaped it out? Do the brackets match?

My can res is really rusty and I see the other type for cheap is why I'm asking.

I don't know this stuff for sure, but I think that the trucks that had A/C were the ones with the little soup can. do some research yourself to find out for sure. they may need extra capacity for the Hydro assist brakes though.

You can swap to the other style, just harder to fill the resivior.
