Hello, I own a 2005 Chevy Duramax 3500 and an employee got a cd stuck in the player. They tried to remove the cd and removed the radiop to do so. When they unplugged the radio to get the cd out , the radio went into a security mode and will now not work. What can I do to get this radio working again? Is there a code or process that I can do? Any info can also be sent to my e-mail address at corvette1972hot@hotmail.com. I will Thank you in advance. Thanks Mark

I don't know for these new trucks, but in a GMC I owned a few years ago, if you unplugged the radio, it would display "SECURITY LOCK" or something....All you had to do was press a radio control button on the steering wheel....It may not work on the new ones...
Good luck..

hmmm it shouldnt have locked...
You'll need to take it to the dealer. It can only be unlocked with a Tech 2 and a TIS/SPS update. Its not like the 2002 and older radios that only need a code to be unlocked.

as I said before...there is no way to unlock 2003+ radios other than a Tech 2 and a dealer TIS/SPS reprogram... ;)
