My buddy has a `04 CC LB 4X4 D/A w/6" Fagtech lift and 35's, .... oops I meant Fabtech. ):h
Anyway he's running a Superchip and a TST, intake and exhaust and he's got a monster of a right foot, already cost him one trans at 15K miles.
Hes chewing the rubber isolators apart in the drive shaft carrier. Does anyone know if there is any aftermarket isolators? Poly maybe?
He's got the carrier dropped some but it's brutal on the rubber jobbies when you are constantly doing burnouts, back to back's, and dragging around a 10,000lb skid steer.
Let me know if any of y'all has heard of one, and where to buy.

Best to have a one piece driveshaft built for those uses.

i will bet the reason for his carrier problem is that the pinion on his rear end is pointing up during his right foot stomps. the leaf springs are wrapping up and this allows the pinion to bind at the rear driveline ujoint , something has to give and its that piece of stuff rubber isolator . made one myself out of solid rubber and with the new leaf spring got rid of 90% of the problems. (he needs some kind of traction bar. ) I filmed ours with a large load and you could see the whole thing in action. much less after solid rubber isolator on carrior bearing and extra long leaf made at benz spring in portland ore.
