Just a quick question, when installing the programs, it asks if your truck has traction control. Does this mean 4x4 or the autotrac? I answered no to this question and My 4 wheel drivew seems to still work.

When I installed mine it asked the same thing and I assumed it was talking about autotrac....so I said no too and eveything seems to work great. I love my hypertech, good luck with yours!

Yes it means Autotrac. You SHOULD answer NO!

Correct....say NO and it also allows larger tire sizes.

Also, put that bad boy on Level 3. I've been running it on L3 for over 2yrs and no problems. Tranny can handle it since HyperTech doesnt load the engine like other mods.

I even tow a 19ft Ski Nauq on level 3.

Mine too. level 3 for 2 years also and I have towed about 10,000 miles with 8-9000 lbs on level 3.

I tried level 1 for all of 1 day during the winter months. I got home from work and was like screw this, I want it back.

Roger.......never tried L1 but did L2. L3 is the way to go. I'm going to try Predator for a little while, as soon as it gets back from DiabloSport for vin cleared.

I ran Edge for about 4 months and had a million problems with it. I sold my 3rd and final box to a guy here on this forum somewhere in Maryland. Anyways, level 3 with the Edge was guttless below 2k and Hypertech feels just as strong and it WAY punchier below 2k. But thats just my opinion.

Ditto. I have been thinking about the Predator too and would be curious how it compares to Hypertech. I tow on level 2 but DRIVE on 3! :ro)

How did the Hypertech effect your milage?

So far it looks like I've gain about 1 mpg average, all hand calculated tanks. Just thought I'd let you know.
