I want to replace the stock exhaust for future performance upgrades. I dont want a exhaust to be much louder in the cab of the truck than what the stock exhaust is. I have a LB7. I have been looking at the MBRP & Silverline systems, any ideas?

I have a MBRP 409SS 4" with frontpipe and a 5" tip. Love the sound, no drone. Install was easy as well. Did it solo in a couple hours, including beverage breaks.

Silverline gets my vote, especially for price.Call Xtreme diesel in vendor section and order full kit from turbo back in Stainless.

Is there any drone sound with the Silverline turbo-back system?

Silverline at highway speeds is quieter than motor. When around town accelerating it has nice rumble drone when rpm is increasing then goes away.

MBRP Cool duals. Great sound on both sides of the truck, not noise inside and i installed in my driveway in 3 hours. One kit for all size trucks and great instructions, specially since the trucks stock dont have duals.

I'm with mpjman, Cool Duals. Nice little rumble outside the truck, but quiet inside.

I got the 4" aluminized from RPM OUTLET. He was selling them on ebay for starting at $190+$40 shipping. I was lucky enough to get it for opening bid:D
It sounds good, very quiet on the highway but you can hear it rumble when you get on it. No real drone that I have noticed but I have not really towed with it yet.
I'm happy with it and well worth what I paid.

The biggest thing for me is the drone in the cab. I got real sick of the noise after 2.5 years of the noise in my gasser and I love the quite ride of the stock exhaust.
