I just got done installing a 75 gallon replacement fuel tank from Supertanks. What a great kit. All parts are included and the instructions were very detailed and easy to follow.

Did you happen to install a pre-filter during your install?

Just curious, I need to get mine ordered one of these days.

I am thinking of installing the same tank in my 04 - 3500 dooly 4x4. I am from Canada and would like to know how much they cost (for a good deal) in the US. Did you do the install? and how long did it take and if you had someone else do it how much did the install cost?

I have been to the Supertank website and have seen the install instructions / photos. Nicely done.

For me I would have to arrange shipping into Canada or wait till I head down into Idaho with my boat later this summer.

One last question ... what impact does the new tank have one your fuel guage display and also what impact does it have on you DIC - Range display (I assume it will be out of wack??)

It took two people al little over half the day to do the install. The instructions were great. Very detailed with lots of pictures. I did not install another filter, I just change the factory filter with each oil change.

The fuel gauge remains accurate, since you use the factory fuel pump and sending unit.

The range till empty is not accurate anymore. You could just multiply the amount shown by two to get a pretty accurate reading.
