:help: alright, heres the thing, i have an fsd cooler and have had one for about a yr and a half now. well i was leaving my local library earlier today and my truck just randomly stalled...the first thing that went through my mind was "SH*T!!! im pmd burnt out on me...again!". it hasnt stalled since i left the library. but it had the same symptom that it had before i spent the 500 on a new pmd and fsd cooler. could it be something else?? im hoping it is because i dont have another 350 or so to drop on a new pmd. help would be great everyone!

Try retorqueing the transistor nuts on it, see if that helps.

Remove te FSD from the heatsink -

Using a 1/4" nut-driver, loosen each of the four nuts holding the transistors, then cinch them up again with your bare fingers.

Then, with the nut-driver, tighten each nut up by rotating it 1/8th to 1/4 turn.

More is not better, here - more clamping tension will damage the transistors.

What you are doing is breaking the oxides of chromium - which act as insulator in elecrical circuits - and restoring circuit continuity.

Reassemble FSD to heatsink, give it another try.
