to send the wife over the edge and give me 100% approval on a diesel. Especially now with diesel in our area at 2.70/gal and gas at 2.80/gal she now understands the difference between 11.5mpg in my 6.0 to 17-18 in our friends duramax.):h

Good move...
Traded the slo 6.0 in two years ago...
Best decision ever...
Actually have power AND economy...
Take er easy with the edge on 2 and expect 22-24 mpg on the highway.
Problem is no one wants 6.0's

a little hurt in the pocket to start off. It's an 03 in near perfect condition. I purchased it just before Katrina, and it set until prices came back down. I owe about 20K on it now. I expect to get around 16-17K on trade in, then i stack what i owe on it on top of a duramax around 21-23K and keep my payments about the same.

Good move, even with diesel here in CA around $3.15 a gallon. Still cheaper a mile to burn diesel.

I had a 02 6.0 L, GREAT TRUCK but it sux on mpg 9 to 11 . The 4:10 rear had a lot to do with it . It had plenty get up and go, no complaints there just the mpg.:p: Diesel here in Pa is $3.19 and going up as we speak:D
