I got some E rated 33x12.5x17's for cheap! Now, I need some wheels. I don't want to lift, so do I need a 17x8, 17x9 or 17x10?? I tow heavy, so does width make a lot of difference? Also, how much backspace and/or offset to minimize trimming?
Thanks,
Jimbo

Well i've had great luck with my seat of Mickey Thompson II rims. They do make a 17x9 cast aluminum rim and its rated at 3000 lbs. Now I have a seat of 16x10 and i've hauld a many load and havent had a problem with them yet. Now as far as how much backspace/ offset u need to minimze trimming, idk. I got 285 on my duramax on 10s with the torsion bars turned 10 cranks and there still scrubin.

I thought about H2's. I actually like the way they look, but I have heard people say that they aren't rated for the weight I carry. So, I was just going to do an aftermarket wheel.

Oh... one more question... What is the difference between "polished", "super finish" and "chrome"??? Which is preferable??

There was a discussion on here about the load capability of the H2s, but i don't think anyone answered it. My tires are 34/12.50 and clear fine. SO with the right backspace you shouldn't have much if any trouble.
