i want my truck to whistle so bad but it will not do it. i have an edge attitude on my 03 duramax. i also added the ppe boost upgrade valve and im maxing my psi at 25.6. i cut the muffler out in hopes of hearing the whistle but nothing. how can i get the whisle without buying a new turbo?

It's a intake issue. Most of the sound you're looking for comes back out through the intake not the exhaust. Most of the whistle comes from the compressor side not the turbine side.

Exhaust helps a little but yes the best way to get whistle is an aftermarket intake preferably with a metal intake tube.

The Attitude reads a MAXIMUM of 25.6 psi... Your boost is most likely much higher than that. Do not fool around with the wastegate until you have a real boost gauge installed to check your boost levels.

Most tend to agree that 32psi is the safe limit for the stock turbo. You have been warned:D

How is he going to get plastic in his motor with an air filter blocking that from happening?? Lots of people have swiss cheesed the airbox with no problems and none have a blown up engine because of it.
