Took out my Kennedy boost stick but kept in his extension for easy hook up of my PPE boost controller. Hooked up my PPE boost controller. With the controller turned down as low as it could go I was hitting 27 PSI boost when on the throttle hard. Turned it up just a hair and it would go between 30 - 35 PSI depending on what gear it was shifting into. Didnt clean up the smoke at all. Also couldn't tell if the toggle switch was on or off. Thought toggle was to bring back close to stock boost if wanted. I thought this boost controller was to fine tune your boost? Don't see any difference between this controller and Kennedy boost stick. Have I got something hooked up wrong or does this sum up this product? Toggle switch and adjustment knob seem to just be for looks because of the inconsistancy.:(

Check to make sure you didn't plug controller into your extension upside down, I did that once and got similar results......
also try disconnecting boost controller and check your boost, 27 psi seems a bit high for no dialed in boost,(mine goes to about 25psi) you may have damaged your turbo with that kennedy boost stick and one of your vains might be stuck.....
At about 11oclock position on the PPE boost knob I get about 30 psi give and take the load on my engine.....
hope this helps....

Does your smoke clean up at all? Can you tell the diffence if the toggle switch is off or on?

My smoke does clean up a bit, but not all the way, We would need a larger turbo to clean it up all the way.....
I notice the switch when cruising at highway speeds say at about 10psi constant for example, then when I turn the switch off boost drops to about 6psi, (stock boost)..... Therefore I usually like to cruise around with the switch on for best economy and less smoke, unless I want to turn it off to smoke someone out that just cut me off......

Thanks, I suspect mine is working fine. Will take a little time to get use to it. I have my PPE Hot +2 on the 240 HP setting. Hope when I go to the 290 HP setting I can get rid of some of the smoke or the fire trucks will be following behind me. Thought I seen some rain coming out of one of the clouds I left on the road today.

Tranny is good. Just took out the Edge a couple of day's ago and put in PPE Hot +2. When my dealership put the tranny in and then reset the taps I recall him saying that 3-4 was real stubborn to learn. Since I put the PPE Hot +2 in on the 240 setting and put it in fast learn it really hammers through the gears. Seems like this is being hard on it but the way I look at it if it breaks then I will have another reason to go back to work.

Wondering what you based this comment on?
If anything, the PPE boost control will be more likely to hurt the turbo as it allows you to crank it up well beyond anything sane...
